Ross Hepburn, our knowledgeable and charismatic CEO, has extensive experience in delivering ghost tours that both educate and captivate his audience. He earned his stripes delivering world-class tours with several well-known Edinburgh based companies, and continues to support and encourage others in the industry. His dedication to authentic historical storytelling, alongside his confidence and enthusiasm, led to the launch of Hauntedburgh, where he continues to express his unique vision for dark tourism in Edinburgh.

Colin MacGregor Maker: graphic design and social media manager
The success of our flyers and social media output is entirely due to Colin’s creativity, enticing designs and catchy quips. Colin has worked in the tourist industry in and around the Royal Mile for some time, so is intimately familiar with local tour operators, and with handling customer communications online. Colin also creates fine art.

Sam Canning: events admin
Sam is a pro at handling all our bookings and enquiries. Her day job is similarly themed in terms of managing bookings and fielding digital questions from clients. Sam liaises with each of our customers to create tailor-made tours and parties to their individual requirements, and supports Ross with office-based tasks.

Carrie-anne Wallace: business admin
Carrie-anne’s background in health and social care gives her a visceral understanding of health & safety requirements and legislation in most environments. Her experience and knowledge has brought great success to Hauntedburgh’s expansion into accessible tourism. As a professional cleaner and declutterer, she has the skills to work miracles with historical and listed venues. She is also a tarot reader and powerful sorceress.

Paj Hamilton: web design and business consultancy
Paj has an extensive background in hospitality and customer service, with multiple international-level industry awards. He also runs a popular series of inspirational, sense-led whisky experiences. Paj manages the Hauntedburgh website, as well as supporting Ross with the paperwork side of business, and with navigating the various booking platforms and APIs. Do not get him started on Star Trek II: the Wrath of Khan.

Patrizia Ayotte: marketing guru
Patti’s insight into social trends, target audiences, and the usage of social media and more traditional advertising, has been invaluable. Her research and advice has supported Hauntedburgh through its establishment as a genuinely unique dark tourism experience within a crowded marketplace.
Our team comprises an experienced tour provider, an efficient administrator, a very talented social media manager with a professional background in tourism, a professional whisky tasting consultant (and personal licence holder), several tarot readers, a marketing consultant, and a professional cleaner. We each bring multiple skillsets relevant to hospitality and tourism business operations.
